Dance a Little...Or a Lot

It’s not NEWS that exercising is vital for keeping us healthy! But have you considered dancing around the house?

My husband and I are a huge fan of 2 or 3 song dance parties in the kitchen or around the house in the mornings. We of course use Fenix’ Happy Guy Playlist on Spotify!

It’s enough for us to get our heart rate up a little. But also easy to include in our busy days.

Some mornings we also combine it with other more practical making coffee and breakfast! While waiting for the kettle or the toaster – dance it out!

The key for us is a decent sound system, and one that syncs up around the house. 

We have a series of JBL Links around the house! It truly makes our dance parties easy to do anytime! And so fun to dance around the whole house.

Fenix loves to get involved too. While more of a prancer, than a dancer, he just loves hanging out with Mum and Dad.

You will need: • Your calendar

  1. We’re going to build on yesterday’s strategy of implementation intentions, regarding exercise for the week! Exercising at least a few times a week is critical for great health.
  2. What form of exercise will you do this week? When do you want to complete it? And where do you want to complete it?
  3. Using the following formula, set your Exercise Implementation Intention:
    I will [BEHAVIOR] at [TIME] in [LOCATION].
  4. Pro Tip 🏆 Reward yourself for following through on your exercise this week! Write your reward down alongside your intention!
